Brethren, I greet you well, In the peaceful coastal town of Marsh Harbour, on the beautiful island of Abaco in the Bahamas, an ancient lodge temple once stood as a symbol of strength and unity. For decades, it had been a meeting place for the brethren, a sanctuary for their shared values and ideals. But everything changed on that fateful day when Hurricane Dorian unleashed its devastating force upon the island. The hurricane tore through the town with unrelenting fury, leaving behind a scene of unimaginable destruction. Homes were ripped apart, cherished possessions scattered, and lives shattered. The brethren and their families, like countless others on the island, found themselves faced with the Herculean task of rebuilding their lives from the ruins. For four long years, the brethren of Marsh Harbour battled to reconstruct their homes and regain some semblance of normalcy. Each day became a relentless struggle, as we scrounged for resources and grappled with the daunting challenges that lay before them. Amidst all of this, their beloved lodge temple lay in ruins, a painful reminder of the devastation they endured. Scarce financial means and the demands of rebuilding their own lives made it impossible for the brethren to commence the repairs on their temple. The lodge, once a sanctuary of brotherhood, now stood as a testament to our collective loss and hardship. But failure was not in our nature. Deep within their hearts, hope flickered like a dying ember, and they resolved to rise anew. To realize our dream of a new temple that would not only serve as a meeting place but also act as a shelter during future hurricanes, however, brethren the need for assistance is now. We humbly reached out to the broader Masonic community, seeking help from sister lodges near and far in our time of distress. It is our hope that News of our plea will touch the hearts of brothers across the globe. The brethren of Marsh Harbour look forward to being overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity to be bestowed upon us. Burning brighter lights, rekindled by the unwavering unity of the brotherhood. With the support of our newfound allies, the brethren will embark on a journey to construct a new temple that would stand as a testament to our resilience and the indomitable spirit of Freemasonry. Each day, we worked tirelessly, pouring of sweat to determine the foundation of our dreams. Together, we turned the desolation of Hurricane Dorian into a beacon of hope. The new temple will rise from the ashes, and its walls will stand tall and strong, as a testament to the unwavering resolve of the brethren and the power

From this day forward, our dream to build this temple will become a symbol of strength, resilience, and compassion.
